If you’re looking for a great non-alcoholic option or an alternative to sugary soft drinks, Genie have got you covered. But as much as we love Genies on their own, we’re partial to an evening Genie kombucha cocktail too. Our drinks are great mixers for alcoholic and non-alcoholic spirits, and with World Cocktail Day approaching on 13th May, we thought we would share some of our favourite summer kombucha cocktail ideas (and some Live Soda ones as well)!

The Lively Sapling

Genie have partnered with our friends at Sapling Spirits for World Cocktail Day on 13th May 2021 to create The Lively Sapling.

Our fruity, fresh take on a Screwdriver is perfect for summer, swapping out traditional orange juice for our Original Orange Liva Soda for some extra probiotics and vitamin C (so it’s healthy-ish), and adding some blood orange juice. You can head down to The Clarence Tavern in Stoke Newington next week to enjoy these at the bar, as that’s where we came up with this delicious recipe!

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Pour lime juice and vodka over the ice in a tall glass
  2. Top up to 2/3rds with Genie Original Orange Live Soda and stir
  3. Garnish with a slice of blood orange
  4. Gently pour the blood orange juice onto the top, or pour gently down a cold cocktail stirrer
