Genie Drinks started out with three wishes:

  • To create healthy soft drinks – no sugar, no nasties, and offering a genuine health benefit.
  • To make delicious drinks that would be appealing and affordable to everyone.
  • To establish a company that followed sustainable and ethical practices, minimising our carbon footprint wherever possible.

These three pillars still remain at the forefront of our vision for Genie. We developed our drinks with nutritionist Eli Sarre to ensure they offer real health benefits and are made with natural ingredients, no sugar, and no sweeteners. Plus, we're working on new products for 2021 to offer different vitamins and new flavours to our drinks range which we think you will love!

At Genie, we pride ourselves on the great taste of our drinks, and all our kombuchas have won Great-Taste awards. We’re thrilled with all the positive feedback we’ve had from customers on Trustpilot, Amazon, and on social media about how much they love the taste of Genie. We’re so pleased you like them as much as we do!

Since day one, we have been working hard to build an ethical and sustainable business, working together with Almond to ensure complete visibility on our ethical supply chain, with regular reviews. Our Genie bottles, labels, and caps are also 100% recyclable, and we're planning to offer Genie in cans in 2021 (watch this space)!

We’ve recently moved to recyclable tape on our webshop deliveries so they’re now 100% recyclable too, and we’re working together with ESG Mark to see where else we can improve in 2022.

As part of our Wishful Drinking initiative, we work with The Felix Project based in London as well as The Hunger Project worldwide to help fight food poverty.

May 28th 2021 is World Hunger Day created by The Hunger Project to bring awareness to more than 820 million people living in chronic hunger during an unprecedented global crisis.

On World Hunger Day – and every day – we ask the world to come together with a shared goal of recognising healthy, fulfilling lives of self-reliance and dignity for all people.
